To get the most out of your wedding consultation, there are several things you should do.
1. Call the church and confirm the time and date of your wedding and confirm their address.
2. Call your reception site and confirm the time your wedding reception begins and ends and confirm their address.
3. Consult with the bride's parent / parents and the groom's parent / parents on correct spelling of names and how they would like their names to appear on the invitation. You will need the correct spelling of the bride and groom's first, middle and last names, as well!
4. Consider what return address you would like on the invitation and bring that information.
5. Consider what return address you would like the r.s.v.p. / respond cards to be returned to and bring that information.

6. View our invitation, reception, and response wording samples. Write down the ones you like best exactly as you want them to appear in your wedding invitation ensemble. Discuss this with your fiancee (and perhaps parents) and see if they would like to change or add anything.
7. Finalize your guest list. You should always order 25 extra invitations for people you may add at a later date. It is much more cost effective since the first 25 invitations are always the most expensive and the last 25 are the least expensive. You do not want to order your invitations until you know how many guests you are planning on having. Remember 2 adults with three children only need 1 wedding invitation if they are living in the same house!
While many brides have questions about wording, bringing the correct information makes the process so much simpler! Some invitation styles may call for different wording layouts and sometimes you will change the wording you brought with you to the appointment. By having the proper addresses and spellings of names this will help us adapt the wording to your wedding invitation.
